In the bowl of a food processor, grind the peanuts on high for several minutes. The consistency should be past that of normal peanut butter. (When you dip a spoon or spatula into the peanut butter, it should drip off and form a ribbon that disappears quickly)
Add the salt, cinnamon, and sugar and grind for several seconds more.
Add the maple syrup and process briefly; just long enough for the consistency to change and the nut butter to thicken.
Remove the blade attachment and stir in the raisins.
